The GA-18, a Verpine style blaster variant.
 
The inner core of the frame is meant to house LED's, with the mag acting as a removable area to store batteries once everything is wired and permanently installed inside the blaster/optic. The Holo optic includes a template to trace out on acrylic plexiglass and be installed inside the holo unit. There is space between the holo unit and bottom plate to run small LED's to edge light the acrylic. You can engrave on the acrylic and it will show up via the edge lighting effect.
 
The drum mag also includes a template, as LED's can be mounted inside the drum mag and show through the slotted areas of the cover plates. The cover plate on the backside of the drum mag has a hole which a 1/4" socket cap screw can fit through, and there is a button with a modeled hexagon shape meant to be epoxied onto the hex cap screw, with a nut epoxied on the inside of the drum mag in the pre-holed bar. This will allow you to open/close the drum mag for batteries/led change outs.
 
LED install is completely DIY, but there is plenty of room to run different configurations to your desire. I recommend using CR2032 battery holders stored in the mag as they are slim and usually offer plenty of power for standard LED's. Please ensure you leave enough wiring for mag removal. There is not a set location for switches, but there are many options available that can be adapted to use with the blaster.
