Thank you for purchasing 'The Pathfinder' - Crusader helmet design by Warlord Arsenal! This was another special collaboration by amazing Swedish artist Felix Wetterstrand and Dra'kar of Warlord Arsenal.
Felix and I have long wanted to create something that meshes our favorite sci fi culture with one that was very similar in our own real life, the Norse. Inspired from traditional and hollywood Norse helmet designs, Felix and I came up with what ended up becoming the Pathfinder. I've modeled this to be able to be printed on medium to large printers, but have included sections such as the Dome and Back body as full sections for those with larger print beds. The default model is made to accept 316 wooden dowel pins, however if any upscaling or downscaling it necessary, wooden dowels come in many many different sizes that should still accommodate the newly scaled holes. They should allow for rapid alignment to put together the model with minimal transitioning needed to blend pieces together. Included in the pack is several different split versions. At minimum, a 200x200x300 bed will be required to print the largest split file. It is possible you can get away with slightly smaller printers, but I cannot guarantee it.
 
There are a few different combinations possible in this pack. The items that can be changed are A clean and horned dome. 3 different horn earcaps - A curved horn similar to the mythosaur style. A ribbed horn meant to resemble shaped metal in two different positions, down and up. All 3 have split versions as well as full versions and all connect the same way to the body.
 
There is a textured version of the horned dome but only in the full half size that uses the middle band to connect them together. There is also textured cheeks. This was my first time attempting a textured file. If the demand for a fully textured helmet presents itself, I will look into releasing a [free] textured version of the entire helmet for those who have bought the original.
 
As with my previous releases, the models use wooden dowel pins to tab everything together. Please measure your finished product to determine the best sized dowels to use, as scaling may change the default size of the holes.
 
The back cap has a cut out that can either be filled from the inside, or used to show off an LED mounted on the inside of the helmet.
 
Included in the pack is a clean sketch so you can plan your color schemes with.
